What Is Skin Tag, Milia & Benign Skin Lesion Removal
This treatment addresses a range of small, benign skin lesions, including skin tags, milia, cherry angiomas and other suitable raised or pigmented spots that clients want removed for cosmetic reasons. During your consultation, your clinician assesses the type, size, depth and vascularity of each lesion so the most appropriate treatment method can be selected.
Technology
Depending on what’s being treated, we may use VascuLyse RF thermocoagulation or another appropriate modality. VascuLyse works by delivering a controlled radiofrequency current through a fine probe to gently dry out and remove the targeted tissue, with minimal disruption to the surrounding skin.
Cherry Angiomas: A Common Crossover
Cherry angiomas are vascular lesions, so they can be addressed here as part of a lesion removal session, or as part of our Vascular & Spider Vein Removal treatment. Your clinician will recommend whichever approach best suits the individual lesion.
